Project Description:
The Dallas County State Jail Facility is a 2,000-bed, 10-story, 237,000 square foot cast-in-place structural concrete building consisting of a foundation of spread footings, concrete columns, beams and slab with a brick clad exterior. Interior construction is both masonry and drywall with acoustical, drywall and exposed concrete ceilings. The facility has complete MEP systems including fully air-conditioned space, emergency power and security and fire protection systems. Support areas include administration, receiving, dayrooms and complete kitchen, dining and laundry facilities.
